Job description

My client are looking to grow their Mining Recruitment team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in consistent billings, strong mining sector experience, and the ability to develop and target international markets. This role suits a driven recruiter who can contribute to team growth while maintaining strong individual performance.

Key Requirements:

Billing Performance

  • Target billings previously set at

    $250k, however open to candidates with consistent minimum billings of $100k.

  • A 3:1 billing-to-salary ratio is required to ensure performance sustainability.

  • Billings must be consistent and trackable.

Industry Background

Preferred:

  • Mining Recruitment - Also Consider (Strong Crossover Industries):

  • Oil & Gas

  • EV (Energy / Renewables / Battery supply chain)

  • Construction / Infrastructure

Geographic Market Focus

  • Preference for candidates with recruitment experience outside of Africa, particularly:

    • South America

    • Canada

  • Alternatively, candidates confident in developing new international markets with a clear connection or understanding of the region will be considered.

Language Skills (Highly Desirable)

  • Portuguese and/or Spanish speaking preferred. Language capability is beneficial due to the recent expansion into Argentina.

Travel & Flexibility

  • Must be willing and able to travel when required, sometimes at short notice.

  • Travel may include targeted regions or other global offices.

  • Candidates must have no travel restrictions and be fully flexible.

Must-Have Requirements

  • Proven track record in a Recruitment Sales role.

  • Strong, consistent billing history (circa $250k level).

  • Must have achieved ~$250k at least once within the last 3 years.

  • Strong business development and revenue ownership capability.

  • Based in or willing to relocate to Cape Town.

  • Flexible and able to travel when required, sometimes at short notice.

  • No travel restrictions.
