Job description
Our client, a growing international recruitment business, is looking for a Head of Sales to launch and lead their outbound business development function from Cape Town. This is a hands-on leadership role, perfect for someone who thrives in a target-driven environment and wants to build a team and function from the ground up.
The Role
Establish and grow a business development desk focused purely on outbound sales (180 role – no delivery).
Drive new client acquisition through cold calling, prospecting, and relationship building.
Act as a billing manager while hiring, training, and developing a sales team.
Work alongside a dedicated 5-person delivery team, with the ability to scale resources.
Play a key role in the company’s international expansion, including plans for a Miami office.
What We’re Looking For
Proven track record in cold calling and managing structured sales cadences.
Experience selling services or solutions and building strong client relationships.
Background in building and managing sales teams in a fast-paced environment.
Recruitment experience preferred, though industry focus is flexible.
The Package
Competitive base salary + uncapped commission.
20 days annual leave + SA public holidays + office closure periods.
Hours: 9am–6pm (Mon–Thurs), 9am–5pm (Fri).
