They are currently seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in sourcing and connecting exceptional talent with their clients in the heart of Manhattan. This role is delivery-only, meaning there is no expectation for new business origination.

Position Overview:

As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and placing top-tier candidates in key roles within the financial services sector. You will focus on Wall Street, working with prestigious clients and candidates to ensure that their recruitment needs are met with the highest degree of professionalism and expertise. This is a hybrid role, requiring you to be on-site in Manhattan for two to three days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing methods, including networking, social media, and industry events, to identify and attract top talent within the financial services sector.

  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients on Wall Street, understanding their unique staffing needs and providing expert recruitment solutions.

  • Interviewing and Assessment: Conduct thorough interviews and assessments of candidates to ensure alignment with client requirements and organizational culture.

  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and labor market conditions specific to Wall Street, and provide strategic advice to clients and candidates.

  • Negotiation: Manage offer negotiations between clients and candidates, ensuring a smooth and satisfactory placement process.

  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry standards in the recruitment process.

  • Reporting: Provide regular reports to clients on recruitment progress, including candidate pipelines, interview feedback, and market insights.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the recruitment team to share insights, best practices, and strategies for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Prior agency recruitment experience is a must, no exceptions

  • Proven experience as a recruitment consultant, with a focus on financial services or Wall Street roles.

  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry, including key players, job roles, and market trends.

  • Strong network within the financial services community is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

  • Results-driven with a commitment to exceeding client and candidate expectations.
