We are currently working with a Lettings specialist, Based in Shadwell, East London, who are looking to expand their current team with the addition of a Property Manager.
Well established team of 5, they have a rapidly expanding property portfolio, currently sat at 180 fully managed properties, with the aim to get this up to 200.
Their business is based on the fundamental principles of efficientcy, honesty and good old-fashioned customer service. They feel that this trio of simple but rare qualities are what separate them from the thousands of other estate agents out there and, with their expertise and knowledge of London and the East London area in particular.
Duties will include:
Setting and collecting rent and other fees from tenants
Carrying out property valuations
Managing the property valuations
managing the property's finances, by keeping accurate records and paying all taxes and levies as necessary
Hiring and supervising any staff employed on the property
Maintaining the property and ensuring regular building upkeep, addressing tenant complaints, completing repairs, and contracting landscaping and snow removal companies
Handling building inspections for prospective tenants or buyers
Managing tenant screenings and evictions
Enforcing occupancy rules
Preparing regular property-status reports for relevant stakeholders
Advertising units and negotiating lease terms
They are looking for:
3 years' experience within Property Management
Strong geographical knowledge of East London/City
Ability to manage Administrator
Flexible in approach to working
