​At Kayman Recruitment, we have partnered with a Loughton based business, formed in 2016, who specialise in Mechanical and Electrical consultancy, project design and installation. They undertake a variety of works in central and greater London, and the home counties and are working on several projects across London and the UK, and need to further strengthen their Accounts department, with the addition of a Management Accountant.

Reporting into the Head of Accounts, this role will see you responsible for;

  • Processing weekly bank transactions and prepare bank reconciliations

  • Preparing payroll monthly, liaising with an external bookkeeper

  • Supervise and assist a small team to ensure all invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes and personnel expenses are processed quickly and accurately

  • Submit monthly VAT returns

  • Assisting with completing month-end responsibilities with no material errors within the reporting deadline

  • Ensure the procurement and purchase ledger functions operate effectively. Liaise with suppliers to resolve disputes and assist with supplier account reconciliations

  • Process sub-contractor invoices, verify CIS status, oversee sub-contractor agreements, and reconcile their invoices on a regular basis

What they're looking for:

  • Previous experience working in Accounts with a good understanding of the general accounting process

  • Experience in using Sage 50 accounting software

  • AAT Level 4 qualified or above or QBE

  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, large data manipulation)
