Our client is a UK‑based leadership and executive search firm specialising in placing senior‑level talent across all functions within manufacturing organisations. Operating extensively across Europe, the UK, and the USA, the firm works predominantly on retained search mandates (75%) and is now expanding by hiring its first South Africa–based team member.

Role Overview

The Executive Search Researcher / Talent Sourcer will support global retained searches by sourcing, screening, and engaging high‑calibre candidates across multiple industries in the manufacturing sector. A key component of this role is the ability to identify and secure direct contact numbers for candidates, going beyond standard LinkedIn InMail responses.

The role requires someone entrepreneurial, resourceful, and comfortable working across international time zones—especially UK and US hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct targeted research to map markets and build talent pipelines across Europe, the UK, and the USA.

  • Headhunt passive candidates using advanced sourcing strategies.

  • Generate accurate and validated candidate contact numbers using various tools and research methods.

  • Screen candidates for fit, interest, and availability.

  • Build and maintain organised candidate lists and search documentation.

  • Liaise with the Founders to prioritise roles and refine search strategies.

  • Support end‑to‑end search delivery on retained assignments.

  • Work flexibly to accommodate US working hours when required.

Required Skills & Experience (Non‑Negotiable)

  • Demonstrated international market sourcing experience (Europe / UK / USA).

  • Proven ability to generate direct contact numbers for candidates (not solely relying on LinkedIn responses).

  • Strong headhunting, research, and candidate engagement skills.

  • Experience working in executive search or specialist recruitment.
